Happy Valentine's Day from us to you! Over the past week Eli and I worked on two special valentines for school and friends.
Thank God for technology and a good printer at home which enables us to scan and print the 24 copies needed for the school classroom and some extras for other friends. Otherwise based upon Eli's pace I imagine we would still be working on them next year, unlike his prolific drawing buddy Olive.
One of the fun parts this year is that Eli is copying words. Of course the word Valentine is long so he asked that I add it to both cards. I did my best to make it a bit fancy. In return Eli spruced up his name with swirls and multiple colors. It was the first time he has done this and it made me smile and take in, he's growing up.
I thought it was fun that he was willing to wear red (compliments of Auntie Dawn in Boston) to school for the party...he's already very independent and wants to be the one with his own ideas and style - which is orange. Anything orange is great and can be worn repeatedly day in and day out.
Here's your valentine one for the boys and one for the gals in our life - your very own Pokemon Valentine.
