Last night my preschooler Eli informed me in a very direct way that I'm not a princess. Oh no my sky is falling, what is a mom to do when she learns that her child's perceptions are developing a mind of their own?
All in all it was quite amusing. My husband had surgery a week ago and has continued to use Eli's room and bed for recovery since it has easy access and requires less personal effort to access the our available personal amenities - and without over sharing the details of nurse Michele I will acknowledge the bathroom kitchen, living room and lounge chair. This has created a situation of Eli and I rooming together. Like any parent you know that he has been vying to do this every day of his life any way and is in total child heaven.
I mean who wouldn't want a great roomie (that's me) to read with, snuggle or as it really is flounder around and kick, hug, and lay on? This has also meant that mom has chosen to wear all available pajamas (and I mean all, because who has time to do laundry during a time of family need?). Well I'm down to the bottom of the small drawer and pulled out some thing that my sister thought I should have that would be much more feminine - this also means it has big flowers and flows.
Eli wouldn't even read with me. All he could say is how come you have princess clothes on?

Focus on Opportunities (card title)
Rich people see opportunities; poor people see

Confessions of a struggling home based business journey seemed like the appropriate title for the conclusion of the 52 week journey. It was my first real venture in to creating some thing different (passsive online revenue ) as part of my desire to increase my gross revenue without significantly impacting my weekly hours. I decided to using the thought and model of multiple streams of income. For those who don't know me, until this time my primary income has been from consulting and coaching.
Today marks the exact one year mark of my first post and it's a time I officially close this chapter, recap what I have learned and get clarity on what is next.
Below is an excerpt from Week 1 of my online home based business journey. As well as my current update in green.
My high dream and big vision goal is
to have a successful on-line Internet business that nets $150K a year within
the first year (by June 30, 2006) and that has multiple end results. This seemed pretty reasonable at the time - especially after reading and engaging with "the experts" who seem to be earning mega bucks each time they sneeze. I learned that it's easy as on online marketer newbie and to become a gatherer of information as well as to keep thinking I needed more before I could take the next step.
